i was just wondering what was up with NTC, if anyone knows, it seems like they host a lot of zones for a lot of people that don't know what they are doing. hmmm, don't mean to trash talk it really even though i would be in the right place, what would they want with a repuation like that WarFan - Sun Jan 04, 2004 3:34 am Post subject:
Im glad someone is offering hosting for anyone who wants to give zone building a shot. Without people like NTC some people would have nowhere to go. So maybe in fact there reputation should be based on that instead of how many people goto the zones that are hosted there.

yea but if u host too many zones teh cpu cannot handle it when the pop builds up and zone turns laggy thus eventually getting a bad rap, ive told dark_mistress 100times to cutback abit on teh amount of zones and nuttin, but yea, they are providing a service, its better than nothing

she makes it so if a server isnt getting anything different, like users and stuff, its going down, because she wants others to get a chance too and for the fact above, to keep the server from overloading. She currently has a wait list that i am on, and apparently, she is on vacation for a couple months...
am i on topic?
Right now i currently like NTC... most of the zones that are up are good No offence to any zone owners...

I dunno about NTC zones being good. So far the only good one I've seen is Warships and Mechs. The rest are just generic.

it is great that someone is paying a monthly fee for an expensive server so that people developing zones can have a chance with larger networks, i am just saying that the pre-requisets to get into it are....a litttle low

NTC hosts my (well not exactly my zone, I'm Co-owner) zone and I feel dark_mistress did it because she knew Zhou Yu (owner) and she wanted to give my zone a chance. I think dark hosts zones for people who have a dream to create a successful and popular zone. Uh huh.... yea.......
No offence to any zone owners...
