While browsing the FAQ(http://cnl.sscentral.com/) for the newly Alpha-released 3D Continuum, i noticed a suspicious omission which would fit quite nicely with the other Q/As:

"Q:Why not just play FreeSpace?"

heh i have the game freespace 2 (kazaa) its good and i like it but its not like continuum in a way.
continuum is customizable where you can change certain things like flags, speed etc. but freespace is just straight forward kill each other and might as well be a game like quake 1 where you cant change much at all.

so far i don't see much customization potential in C:NL either. why change FreeSpace2???
