Hopw do I log in as a sysop in my map if my password(hypothetically) is "sysop" without the "'s

If you have the verification on, make sure your name is on sysop.txt.

Oh, you can also add *sysop to the end of your password, so you are sysop as soon as you log in.

(be sure to add ur username to the moderate.txt)

so u add the sysops/smod/mod password to ur players name to log in automatically when u enter the zone? how do u do this...and nice av Dr. Brain and hyperspace is cool!!!

In your profile, put [PlayerPass]*[StaffPass]. This has only been explained 1000 times, so I can see why you couldn't find anything with a search.

Ahem, OK, fine that was mean, but I'm not gonna take it out.

Put the name of the sysop in the Sysop.txt file,then get your sysop pw from the server.ini file and go into your zone and either type *sysopw or
!login sysopw.Good Luck.

Don't do !login sysoppass, everyone will see it (private message bot if necessary). Also don't use the same password for bot login and sysop, it's bad practise.

Smog, even if they see it they can`t log in as sysop unless there name is in the sysop.txt file.

!login is a bot command so what has sysop.txt got to do with it?

Any way you need this in server.ini if what I think you are tring to say is going to be true.

if the biller for your zone should go offline

and someone knows the password to login to the bot

and the bot has powers of any sort

...guess who just got free powers?

this is also why you shouldn't give out any passwords, even if the validations are enabled - the biller goes offline and anybody can use your name
