Why don't you just learn to do it yourself. It is NOT that complicated at all. Those of us that frequent this board will even help you learn.
Don't you think asking someone to be your slave is a little lame?

Obiously he dosen't think its lame, he asked.

Where'd you come up with that? Maybe his desire to be in charge of something nice was more powerful than his urge to supress his lameness.
Stick to facts.

Please try to be kind to people posting questions. I do not want to have to have people to go through and edit posts that attempt to flame/make fun of people when they ask questions. Everyone asks the easiest questions about something when they are learning stuff, and those that are knowledgable should be able to assist, not point and laugh. You can feely do any of that in the Trash Talk forum.

Anyways, tweezy, what do you mean by shipsets? Making ship images? Working with the settings to make them balanced?

And as for ini editing, if you need to see what something means, feel free to post a question asking what certain things mean, or if it is possible to do something with it like make nuetral flags appear in the middle of the map or something. The best way to learn is to try things out. Change some of the values and see what they do (but remember to backup your old changes so if it screws something up, can revert back to it).

If you are behind a router, you'll need to lookup in the manual or their websites on how to allow ports to be access directly to your computer, instead of being blocked by the router's firewall.

Riiight. Sorry if I got the impression you wanted someone to do work for you after you made a post asking just that.

Post subject: router
look for something by the name of DMZ or something like that if you got a router... I think that's what you should look for :)

um... or if you sharing inet thru a proxy, try running subgame on the PC running as server.

Yes tweezy, like me, you are basically screwed.
You need to find someone with a static IP that isn't experiencing router problems to host your zone.
Now that I work I don't have much time (like 3 hours a day icon_cry.gif ), but if you need help with settings, I will be glad to assist.

99% of the time, the routers have the company name on it. Google search for it, and you should come up with something about how to use it.

EDIT: Ignoring feature added for those of you who are registered users of this board. Want to ignore someone? Register here, and then you can. Link to the ignoring features are below everyone's post, and at the bottom of the page where it has the View Stats, etc.

try this:
1.) start->run->winipcfg
2.)write down the IP in the 'default gateway' section (might have to press the details button first)
3.)type http://ipnumhere/ into your web browser
4.) hopefully a login screen will show up![/list]

Can you use no-ip.com for dyndns Grav? Then ss:/yourserver.no-ip.com?
MnM{333} - Thu Dec 12, 2002 6:44 am
Post subject: u
you could... but that wouldn't solve the router problem... that'd just give you a address that forwards to your IP...

Tweezy? you mean me?... fine I'll stop trying to help you if you're that po'ed at me...

What's your computer's (internal) IP address? If you have that then you know your router's on the same subnet and you can IP scan all the computers on said subnet. Lemme know if you want more details on how to do this. BTW, when you scan, you need to unplug the Internet port on your router so that requests don't get forwarded to the 'net. Good luck. Post here again if you need more help, or if you don't understand how to do what I just said.
