There seems to be a plague of '...' and smilies going on, and I think I need to make a cure for it. Vote on the best method above.

that's funny, but I occasionally use ellipsis dots, so... (heh) maybe make it FOUR dots in a row, as sane people only use three

I think you should limit it to 5 a post as well (location doesn't really bother me, so long as they are different smiley's).

Actually, 4 in a row is proper usage. Three for the "missing info", and one to end the sentence.

I only did the archive because it was what saved the forums. Another user on the host was killing the system, and to make the forums load faster than 40 seconds per page, I had to cut back a LOT on cpu load of my own scripts.

I'm trying to merge then back in, but havn't setup the time to correctly remove the double posts in both databases.

I believe in being able to search the forums for any information, so I try not to archive. As for the anti-smithy bumping code, its still there, but it looks like another mod fucked it up. It still shows as locked, but the posting.php isn't locking it for him.
