Well,
Last post before thread died: 29/8/2003, 17:53;
Post which brought thread back alive: 6/8/2004, 18:05,
so, almost one year old.
Isn't forum pruning a good idea for threads which don't need new posts?

I'm surprised miney hadn't already "archived" coughdeletedcough this one

I only did the archive because it was what saved the forums. Another user on the host was killing the system, and to make the forums load faster than 40 seconds per page, I had to cut back a LOT on cpu load of my own scripts.
I'm trying to merge then back in, but havn't setup the time to correctly remove the double posts in both databases.
I believe in being able to search the forums for any information, so I try not to archive. As for the anti-smithy bumping code, its still there, but it looks like another mod fucked it up. It still shows as locked, but the posting.php isn't locking it for him.
