i was playing the enigma subarena and i notice that there are interesting random effects like the sphere that is on top of the ship

im wondering how i can make something like that

most things are possible, but not necessarily practical

download the lvztoolkit.zip

it is part of how enigma works

Not too experienced with lvz, but since the ship is always at the center of the screen, make a screenobject with coords c-1/2width, c-1/2height.
That should place the object in dead center.

I've been in Robotech plenty

using the name 'Zor Prime'

if you want to understand how the bot and .lvz work together for 'enigma', just use debuildlevel.exe on the enigma .lvz files in your TW or 17th parallel zone folder
