i've found the "users guide" and it contains alot of good info... but 3/4 of my questions aren't answered in it. is there a faq? or maybe you could task somebody with documenting?
i will have a spare machine set aside for running asss here in a few weeks, so i'm getting it started and going on my laptop for the time being (Debian)

i guess i just assumed i wasn't the first person to ever use it, and that maybe the people who do may have asked questions, and i was looking for that, before i started annoying you with questions

I think there are two ways of doing it. killing the process or doing ?shutdown as a sysop.

Power button is, of course, a third option. Most however, like to stay clear of this method unless drastic measures are called for

Ahhh, I'm logged in via SSH on a remote (:-/ it's 20 ft away lol) computer, so it's a little hard to use the power button; I can't log in as sysop, I'm having problems with that; however "kill" worked on it, so thanks.
