When an upload is successful I think the sender should be notified.
If people have putfile/zip powers in an arena, they should only be able to upload to that arena's directory. If they are in the global staff list with upload capability then they should be able to upload anywhere.

Better idea: Since most good servers will be running on linux, why not just setup ftp? Better control.
Yes, in-game uploading/downloading still needed and is nice, but going to have problems since files can techincally be placed anywhere and work.

yeah, i noticed that when i had my project zone a few years back. I was still a newbie with zones and the host asked me why there was like 50 versions of one file. It'd be nice to have more control of where you pout some items. Now, i've not dabbled in zone work for so long, i may be unaware of an update that lets you do it.
