I'm currently talking with a popular webcomic about making a zone themed to their comic. If they agree to it then it would be a way to bring in some new blood to Subspace/Continuum and maybe bring in some old players back from the grave of inactivity.

Why am I posting this? Well I would like to hear others' thoughts. Who knows maybe this kind of partnership is what the game needs.

Themes aren't enough. You need unique gameplay. Each popular zone offers something different. What will your zone offer that the others don't?

I have thought about that today. While I have ideas on what I would like to do I haven't decided on a set plan just yet.

Well, the fact of the matter is unless we try something the ship will just sink faster. Now I'm not going to be preaching that I'm the SSC Messiah that's going to save the world of subspace with this project, but what I will say is this. I want to try something.
