My friend Eric Anderson recently joined an online competition to win a 20 thousand dollar scholarship. He was recently accepted into Columbia University and is trying to raise enough money to actually attend school there. This would be of great help to him.

The competition is essentially a popularity contest. It's stupid, I know, but he is so close to winning and I would really like to see him win it.

Just thought I would give an update, last night Eric was down by 400 votes when he got home from school but by midnight he had gained the lead. Again, over night, this girl has somehow garnered more support and has taken the lead by substantial numbers. However, it is not over yet. He did it once and by golly he can do it again. I see that many people have already viewed this post, if you could please continue to support my friend it would be an amazing show of faith. Thank you very much.

As I said he could, Eric has regained the lead by some 50 votes. He was the first one to reach the two-thousandth vote. I really think he can win this so if you are reading this thread and haven't voted yet, please vote fore Eric so he can win this scholarship. Thank you.
