Ok so I installed Windows 2003 Server, and I registered an account at DynDNS and I obtained the ip 68.109.88.131 whenever I type that in on my browser I get "Under Construction" I asked my friend to type that ip in and she said she got a "Oops unable to display the page" What is going on? Is there any guides that can help me setup a DNS server so that I run a www.com website from my house? |

Could be a firewall or router blocking access _________________ (Insert a bunch of dead links here) |

Stang, I think you're posting at the wrong forum for this specific issue.
The people over at www.webhostingtalk.com might give you more assistance and knowledge concerning your problem. _________________

Windows firewall is enabled by default, verify you have port 80 open. You should make sure you have installed all necessary updates/service packs before doing this.
Your default site in IIS may have IP Address restrictions (but probably not), you can look under the default web site properties in IIS under access restrictions. |

he is right, im using optimum online and my port 80 is blocked... call your service and ask about port 80, because for optimum online you have to pay 20 $ extra a month |
