I currently use a webhost for my website but i would much rather use my own servers. My domain must remain registered with my webhost due to contract. My question is, is it possible to forward users from my webhost to my servers while keeping the SAME domain name? ie:

if you go to www.studiomesh.com (which is hosted with yahoo)
can you be redirected to my servers
and it still be under www.studiomesh.com?

You could probably pull something with mod_rewrite on Apache, but I don't know enough about it to tell you for sure whether that's possible, not to mention exactly what to do.

By the way, this is a Subspace server site, not a general one. You might have better luck finding help somewhere else. icon_smile.gif

Yes, it's possible. You only need to change the nameservers of your domains to your own servers (ask yahoo for this).
You have to have a configured nameserver running on your servers for this though.

buji, as this isn't the best forum for these kind of questions I suggest you post at www.webhostingtalk.com .
