Is it worth the expense, and what size are the miniatures? I mean, I picked up some D&D mini's the other day and they where just god awful. I had always wanted to get into Warhammer, but I'd really like to hear some other opinions on it before I start throwing money into it.

btw someone (on vent) just told me that you need to paint your own warhammer mini's if your anywhere remotely interested into it. hope that helps? he says otherwise your just a noob. he says they probably sell them prepainted by now since people are so lazy, but how they can look is entirely dependant on you.

Okay, I'll clarify. I've been looking at Warhammer models online. I know and don't care about having to paint my own models, mod them, or build my own landmarks. My question isn't really a question, as much as I want to see if anyone plays WH on this board, and see their opinions of the battle-system.
