Hey fifty. I hope you are still available.
A few pointers:
-I do not like it how I cannot adjust the window size myself. It has become a very annoying issue.
-I do not think that SkinEdit should auto-size itself to meet the dimensions of the skin (plus whenever you re-open SkinEdit, it will use the last window dimensions that were used).
-Add some animation-helping features.
Animation-helping features. Eh? It is a troublesome amount of work to define each frame of a part of a skin. Perhaps the user should be able to select an area of an animation (for example, take the warbird's rotation frames). We would select/highlight the entire area of all the rotation frames for the warbird. From there, we would be able to set the padding, margin, and frame order.
If you know some HTML, you ought to know what margin and padding would do. Frame order is in what order and direction the frames of the animation are. For example...
0 1 2 3 4 5 6
7 8 9 10 11 12 13
14 15 16 17 18 19 20
or...
0 3 6 9 12 15 18
1 4 7 10 13 16 19
2 5 8 11 14 17 20

I will give credits to anybody who can help me finish off this skin. After the skin is finished, I will replace the existing skin the Continuum's DLL files and then rearrange the menu for Continuum (if I get this far and figure it out).

By the way, I highly recommend you uninstall WinZIP and install WinRAR in place. If you're using Windows XP feature, you better just download and install WinRAR.

I tried your bmp, wow thats big, didnt realise ppl would use bmp's that big so u are right the window size is an issue, ill look into that. The animation help is a bit more specalised i think u were asking for some kind of auto coord generation for overlays so u dont have to place 25 boxes to get ships to spin.
So the result of that ramble is i will probably have a resizeable window in a week or so.

That looks like a registry prob the keys and values should look like this. I have uploaded a new version that i think fixes this. I have build 2600 on my laptop and it works fine on that one, btw it does not use .net or directX.

Thank you. :] Now it works.
My Windows XP account has "Â " (ALT+255) in it, which might have been the cause of the problem. ;o
