Hello, I have made a tileset and saved it as a SST.lvl (bmp file). when I load it in the tile editor. and then transfer a new tile over to another tile set, the color of the tile becomes distorted. How do I fix this? |

The "safe" way is to use a more-powerful-than-mspaint image editor to set the tileset palette to the same as tiles.bm2. Then do your renaming and transfering.
Since 24bit palettes are supported, it may be that the target tileset is still 8bit (most likely), or the map editor is doing something when you try and transfer the tile over.
If this all sounds a bit cryptic open the map you are working on in mspaint (open paint and drag the file onto it), go to file, save as, save it as a 24bit image with a new filename. Now import this new image as the tileset for the map. Then you should be able to go about transferring individual tiles without color loss. _________________ ss news |

You have to set continuum to 24 bit too. From the menu, View, Options, Graphics, Color Depth -> 32 _________________ (Insert a bunch of dead links here) |
