Make sure you don't have a firewall blocking Continuum from running. In Vista's case, make sure you run Continuum as administrator (right click+ run as admin), and make sure you didn't accidentally block it in windows firewall. |

Most zones work, but theres a choice few that dont. Hockey zone, Halo, Gauntlet, Fusion. I tried running as admin but it didnt work. |

Use the 'Trace' feature on a few zones you cannot enter. Post the trace logs here within

blocks.
Is the problem occuring on other computers on the same network, too?
Are there any hardware/software firewalls in front of your Internet connection that you know of?
You might be trying to connect to ports that were blocked somewhere on the route to those servers.
Continuum zones should be hosted on port 23! |

Well Halo and fusion are hosted on the same machine. Maybe the ip is being rejected or something. I'm no vista guru (never used it b4), but it sounds a lot like a firewall issue to me. Do what solo suggested and please export the results and show them here.
I have heard about Vista sucking on the driver end. I would think if a nic didn't have good drivers, it wouldn't work at all. Maybe it just isn't working fully. Have you been running Windows updates? I'm pretty sure Vista will need daily patching. |
