PowerBot Core has an interface where you can move around LVZ map and screen objects.
Although the documentation doesn't explicitly say what type of units the "x" and "y" coordinates are, I've found that PowerBot uses Tile coordinates to move LVZ map-objects.
Is this just a design decision specific to PowerBot - does the game's protocol for altering LVZ attributes support changing Pixel coordinates of LVZ map-objects?
If so, anyone know if any bot core supports updating LVZ map-object positions with pixels?
I want to animate the placement of an LVZ map-object, and having the precision of pixel coordinates rather than tile coordinates would make the animation more fluid and convincing. |

Yes, it's at the pixel level. It must be something specific to powerbot.
I know nothing about bot cores supporting it though.
Word of warning, lag will make your fluid animation not quite so fluid. _________________ Hyperspace Owner

Thanks.
Anything is better than it jumping around 16 pixels at at time. |

One last comment pertaining to this. The order in which the picture and statement flowed by what it said, the joke didn't necessarily mean it was directed towards one person or the other but rather how one perceives it. Well to be technically correct about it, "I" was the one who got ownt in the statement.
My previous post was only meant to say HEY, I tried to access your downloads link on your site because I wanted see your bot code work, though when I tried, this is what happened to me. This is indicates a "can you please fix this so I can check out the downloads you have to offer" message in a jokingly manner.
I am sorry I offended you. Apparently it was a bad joke in poor taste. I will not try to be humorous in this forum anymore. I will be serous in all topics from now on.

Hahaha, wow. You didn't have to take what I said that serious.
You'll know how to deal with the people here after you've seen a bunch of threads. |

It's supported at the protocol level, but the bot must be logged in as a moderator for it to work. And, as already stated indirectly by others, it's supported by most cores. |
