Everyone can enter my zone but it's showing red on list. If you go to zones and update list it will be green and saying it's up but after waiting a few seconds it turns red but still showing lag so it's meaning it's up. I have uploaded my server.ini I'm thinking something is wrong with my router I got the port open but not sure if I messed it up or somtething, if anyone has a clue of what to do please respond to this message. Thank you. _________________ One time my brother locked me in the closet after he beat the shit out of me. that's ok where is he now, you dont know, no one knows. In server.ini, you have to put your actual IP address instead of 127.0.0.1 or localhost http://whatismyip.com/ _________________ (Insert a bunch of dead links here) |

Whoa that's quite vague Samapico, there's more than one place you can put an IP in server.ini. _________________ ss news |

Yeah I know that, I have localhost where it is supposed to be and I have my actual IP where it is supposed to be. My zone showed green before, and it didn't start this until I switched this computer from wireless to wired, and yes I opened the port 7200 and 7200+1 |

So you opened 7200 and 7201 correct?
Change your passwords and post your server.ini |

That isn't any solution to his problem, cheese, nor does any of those directory servers exist or are reliable enough apart from sscentral.sscuservers.net .
bigcheifhitmybong, is your zone hosted at your computer, at a different computer but in your house (behind the router), outside your house?
You say everyone can enter your zone but you can't. This is probably caused by a firewall blocking the connection to your server.
If you're running the server at a different computer but behind your router then there is probably a firewall at your own computer blocking it. If it's outside your router then probably your router (and maybe a firewall at your computer) is blocking the connection.
You say that after adding your zone from the directory server list you can't access it. It may be possible you can't access your own zone through the IP provided by the directory server.
If you are hosting the zone at your own computer, try to connect to 127.0.0.1 in Continuum or if you are hosting it inside your network, connect to the LAN IP of the computer.
If you are still having problems, please post what kind of biller you are using with your zone and post your subbil.ini. _________________

As Mav said, adding your zone as a 'custom' zone with 127.0.0.1 might work... I remember having to do something like that too |

Kinda in a hurry but here's the prob my zone shows RED but I and everyone else CAN enter! No one has a problem entering the zone just it will be green when you download zones and then after about 10 seconds it's red but you can still enter, and so can I. |

Yeah you already said that... Did you try adding a custom zone with 172.0.0.1 yet? |

Some routers do not allow you to connect to your own outside IP address.
So you would need to use 127.0.0.1 or perhaps your local IP address (ex: 192.168.1.1) |

I've never heard of that before... what kind of router would block you from referencing your own external IP? |

The problem is probably more the 'way' subgame tries to loop to itself rather than the whole self-reference thing not working...
If that made sense...
I had to do that with my D-Link 601(I think) |

I've never been able to connect to my external IP (although I've only ever owned 2 different brand/model routers). As a workaround it can probably be done by using "route add" in windows (optionally with the permanent switch).
Anyway, back on topic. Try changing the port the server uses (add 1000 or something like that), maybe another program has grabbed the port+1 before you could start subgame. |
