Me and zim were working on bots in the zone, when we both realized something crazy.
If i remember correctly /*prize -100 used to take away 100 bounty from the specified ship. Does anyone else remember this? I went to MG and talked to Kn|ght and he said he remembers the same. And he also said he noticed some changes in biller, but we both agreed instantly that /*prize is client side so that wouldnt have any effect. Anyone else have any idea? This is really bugging me out. |

As I told you in-game, this isn't the case and it hasn't worked for years.
Even if there were recent changes to the biller, they would have no impact on game packets. This would require a change to Subgame which, to my knowledge, hasn't happened in a couple years. _________________ There are 7 user(s) ignoring me right now. |

There is no method to lower player's bounties through greens. You can tell the client to grant tons of prizes, or grant/remove a specific one.
*prize -100 does not lower bounty in either VIE's client or Continuum. |

the only thing that works is /*prize #-13 or whatever other prize, which gives you a negative prize.
Perhaps you're confusing it with /*points -100 too _________________ (Insert a bunch of dead links here) |

Well there are ways to confirm or dismiss your ideas.. Crank open a older subgame and VIE client and try it out. _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling |

No, it wasn't possible 2-3 years ago, either. That's when I figured this stuff out, and I tried to do the same thing, lower bounty with a command. As the matter of fact, I don't even think there's any way to lower bounty, even with an AS3 hack. For example, there's a command to set a player's bounty in AS3, but it doesn't work. So I assume it's there as a clue for a client feature. |

Doesn't the hack of sending a player their own position packet (to disable things like antiwarp) also let you force the player's bounty to change? |

Yes, we do it all the time in HS. We made a module to decrease bounty when someone sits in a safe. _________________ Hyperspace Owner
