In E3 2004, Sony announced that the console wars are over.
I guess they were right.
Because there entered Microsoft, a giant enemy crab, which hit sony in its weak spot, for massive damage; and it has done it very fast, like a ridge racer.
Only a couple years after and xbox360 sold 8 million units and the Wii, already with shortage in supply and massive demand, over a million of units while Sony still stagger behind with a meager 300k units.
Indeed, the console wars were over.

But I find Sony amusingly retarded and detrimental to games and gamers' health.

I agree. I mean, the false Disc Read Errors that were added to the PS2(Sony screwed up their systems on purpose), the PSP's dead pixels...they've proved over and over their customer service is crap. Of course, Nintendo has proved over and over that they're gimmicky. The only new and innovative thing they've really had that actually worked(excluding their controllers, each of their controllers was considered revolutionary at the time) was the GameBoy. Everything in between has failed. Heck, I could rant forever about all the bad decisions the company has made in the name of business that have screwed them over. I have a PS2 for RPGs, and that's it... I'll also concede that the PS2 is superior if you enjoy racing games. Any other games are better put on PCs(RTS, FPS, MMORPGs) or are on the GameCube(all types not previously mentioned). You know why I think most of the random games are released on Nintendo? No, you don't. Why are you reading this post?

Anyway, I bought a Wii because I play Super Smash Brothers Melee competitively(not in any major tournaments, just local), and I'm going to need Brawl. Besides, Twilight Princess is pretty fun. I don't like the Wii controller, all Twilight Princess did with it was aiming weapons by pointing, and shaking the controller. They don't measure anything about how the controller is moved, only that it is moved, so in essence, it's just an invisible button(sounds like something Apple would love... the no button mouse?).... If that's the best this console can do then Nintendo wasted their time. But just like the DS, I'm sure that after a year they'll realize they can make games without using the weird controller, and all will be good again. Also, check my sig.

The PC has shitload of racing games.
The PS has nothing on it, from the technical aspect, that you could claim improves racing games on it.
Controller? Wheel? A USB plugin and you have it on the PC as well.
Graphics? PC is already superior.
And so on.
If PC game designers suck at making racing games gameplay...another issue (although NFS rules, IMHO).

P.S.
If you have a PS2 you MUST get Neo Contra.
And upload ALL of the cut scenes.

I agree with Assassin2684. Having a dicussion about which console's better is just stupid, because it will always suck more than playing games on PC.

You know, someone should just create an OS which is designed for gaming, and by that MS would probably be the best choice.
An OS which isn't a stripped down version of Windows, but more of a game engine as OS.

Just get a nvidia nforce i880 motherboard (I believe that's the model), with two Geforce 8800 that are connect with SLI. Fill that baby up with SLI ready memory, and then to top it all off; spend your life savings on a Intel Core 2 Extreme. That's what I call my own PC gaming system, you can even run vista on the side with very little refreshing lag. If you want, get a Sound blaster card for some real life sound.

Too bad nobody's smart enough to get my joke, I would at least expect to have someone come out in the dumbest thread so far I've seen here and understand a little bit of Chemistry.

BTW, K: I probably won't come back again, but if I ever do, I'm calling you "Kelvin for now on". Also, your heat drive would have to be at least 1068 to be Cerium's melting point...

Oh yes for brownie points, try and guess who I am. It's probably the least expected person to make a smart joke like that. And no MGB (for the love of last names, Kelvin, stop calling him "Murphy"), you can't win nor give any hints.
