Some more information would be great. Your own server, is this a computer running at your house, or is this a professional server you're paying for? I assume you're talking about what, Apache? Is this being hosted for you, or are you configuring Apache by yourself? Windows or Linux? |

If you're running it from your house, you're going to have to have a nameserver. _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. Why? I have a server running off my internet connection and I let netsol manage my DNS. I can't imagine godaddy not having something similar.
If they don't, www.zoneedit.com has free DNS services, and I'm sure a google search will show a bunch more. _________________ There are 7 user(s) ignoring me right now. |

Don't use IIS. It's full of security holes and bugs.

ok so you're running microsoft server enterprise edition at home...legit copy?
Maybe you should stick to using something simpler if you dont know how to set this up....whats wrong with windows XP?
its prob even easier if you pay godaddy the $2.99 a month or however much it is to host your site for you.
I suggest you do that. _________________ Rediscover online gaming. Get Subspace | STF The future...prehaps |
