Mervcompat is a compatibility layer between mervbot plugins and asss. This allows you to take an existing mervbot .dll (windows only, since that's all merv works on), and make it work with asss and appear like a module. Commands are issued by using the ?bot command followed by the actual command. So "?bot help" and "?bot about" will use the help and about commands, respectively. There is lots of other stuff in, mostly untested, however.

This was something I started a while ago, but decided to stop working on. The basic functionality is implemented, such as sending text or receiving commands. It should be simple enough to follow the outline of the current code to build in additional merv events. Someone can work on adding some events so that additional plugins work, or I might pick it up at a later time. I haven't really tested it on any 'real' plugins. As far as I can remember, most of the asss -> bot events are in, but some bot -> asss events are lacking.

Very nice! I'll check it out later.

How does it handle the "fake" player stuff for grabbing flags? Or should I ask, does it?
