i just tried a few things, and...

it looks like buildlevel no longer includes files specified IMAGEx=...
i needed to put File=... in there in order to get it to work!

Can some1 confirm this?

If you happened to try the DeBuildLevel on it, you'd notice that yes, it won't include the IMAGE files unless you include it in a File= line. This was done because of my MakeLevel program. It seemed a better idea for him to include only those in File=, since then you can have the lvz's split up a lot nicer. If you want to do the same previous method of 1 lvz with all the obj's and the other lvzs have the files, it is still supported. Just now you can have more than one lvz with object info (though make sure *objon's don't overlap!).

Also note the disappearance of my MakeLevel program, since BuildLevel does it now.
