I just uploaded my zone map today, and some peopel can enter and some people cannot and it gives the error that: you do not have permission play in this zone. Why is this happening?

In your server.ini, under Permissions:
Quote: | [Permission]
AllowBadMachineId=1
AllowLowBandwidth=1
MinimumSecondsToLogin=0
PermissionMaxPoints=0
PermissionMode=0
AutoPermissionPoints=0
AutoPermissionIDList=0
AutoPermissionMessage=Congratulations |
Permission mode should be set to 0. If it's set to 1, then it will look for a permit.txt in your zone folder and see who's name is on it. If your name is not on the permit.txt, then you won't be able to enter the zone. _________________ SSE Network Administrator

Quote: | No permission to play in zone
If Continuum reports "You do not have permission to play in this zone." and subgame shows "Invalid login packet received", then subgame is not reading your continuum executable correctly. Make sure you have a "version1" folder in the same folder as subgame with a copy of continuum.exe renamed as subspace.exe inside. |

Are you sure your version1 folder is set up correctly? _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. User assumes all risk of use. Cyan~Fire assumes no responsibility for any loss or delay resulting from such use.

Then try using a different map and see if it lets you in. If so, upload the bugged map here (inside a zip file) and we'll check it out as to why it is causing problems.

Well I used CLIT and added the special tiles in it, such as the one that sucks in all items (packmen head dude one), would that cause something?

Never heard it doing anything before, but that doesn't mean it won't. Why don't you test it out on a different map and see if the people are let in then? Tell us your results!

I Have my zone folder in the Continuum folder, Within my zone folder I dumped all the server14.zip files into it. I did the How To: Modififcations off http://www.subspacedownloads.com/index.php?act=help&c=make_zone From that tried too get in got error...
' This name does not have permission to paly in the selected zone. See zone website (web Links menu) or contact the zone administrator for information on player permissoins. Meanwhile, please choose another zone. '
I have a version1 folder within my zone folder I copied the continuum039pr1 and renamed it subspace.exe I also copied over the update.exe into that folder as well someone mentioned it was needing to be in there as well.
I have checked permission under server.ini my mode=0 so I'm kind of out of options other then trolling forums more but wonder if anyone can help thank you.

That's really strange... are you sure you're connecting to the right zone??
Try making a new server not in your continuum directory.

I think (not sure) that that error is caused because the biller isn't working properly. Check the biller ip = localhost and NOT 127.0.0.1 .
If this doesn't work, attach your server.ini and subbil.ini . Also make sure you have everything from the version1 directory from the server package (not someting out of your own continuum directory). _________________

I've deleted the whole folder and created it else where I used just the files contained in the zip file and everything is working properly now thank you both for your time and wisdom.
