When I try to go and double click an icon on my desktop, files, and taskbar such as internet explorer or continuum or McAfee It comes up as if I would have right clicked it once. I also looked at my folder options and its set to double- click to open an item....Any one know what to do about it? |

Check your keyboard and make sure the ALT key isn't stuck down.
Check your mouse properties that they havn't been set for a left-handed person. |

Is it a wireless mouse? 'Cause mine freaks out like that from time to time. I just unplug it, then plug it back in and it works. |

Hmm, my sister has a problem with her mouse doubleclicking. She's using the Microsoft Intellimouse, and a few people have problems with those. So far, each one in my house has stopped working at one point, and we've had to get a replacement. That was after a year though, at least for mine, at which point the off-brand cheap batteries still hadn't died. So, I suppose it's a tradeoff. |

Check http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com for any driver updates for your mouse. If there aren't, then have you tried simply rebooting your machine? It could just be that something didn't load properly. |

I've been extremely pleased with my Intellimouse Explorer. I bought it 6 years ago off of ebay, used. Only recently I've been having trouble with double-clicks and the mouse wheel. I thought it was dying, but it turns out the USB on this cheapass mobo i had to buy sucks ass. _________________ Oldbie Server Help |
