Ok I am having 2 problems right now. Problem 1, players cannot exit if they are in a ship with low power... this is a problem because I do not want to use energy recharge except with greens. The cfg checker I used said to set max energy to 350 but the initial energy is set to 2000 and maxenergy at 3000.
Problem 2, whenever someone kills someone subgame crashes. Heres the cfg, maybe I over looked something.

Prize factor and prize delay are way to high, me and gerbils had to figure that out the hard way. I dont think there is anyway around the whole changing arenas/speccing with teh low nrg. One thing you can do is have a !spec or ?spec command for bot, or if your using asss. Only problem with that, is it can be highly abused.

Set safety time to 5 seconds so people with low energy can quit.

Or create a bot/asss command to switch ship. _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. User assumes all risk of use. Cyan~Fire assumes no responsibility for any loss or delay resulting from such use.

Simply Alt Tab and click this 'X' on the chat window if you have low energy. That's what I always do.

When your energy is low esc q doesn't work. You have to wait forever to recharge. So that's what were talking about.

Esc + q says... exiting zone.... then does nothing till the energy recharges. So if your energy does not recharge your SOL unless you buy a recharge from the bot or find a recharge green.

Interesting. So you can quit with the chat window but not with esc+q? Never knew that. I'm assuming Ekted can't do anything about it, though, because the game doesn't tell the chat window anything about the energy.

Not entirely true, this doesn't work on Windows 98/ME.
The windows key doesn't work in game on those operating systems either. I think most people here use something better anyways, but that's just something I have run into.

just make a command in a bot .quit, that kicks the player off is a public message (I think it's *kill?).
