ok heres the problem my server is red. im going through a router and ive tried to get my port forwarding down but i cant get it right so i tried the DMZ and i got my server to be green but still cant get in it says "Failed to connect to server..." and my subgame2 and subbill act like nothing has happened at all. but i can connect when i add custom zone and set the ip as 127.0.0.1 and port the 7000. i think my router is discontinued too i couldnt find it on the linksys website and the tech guy kinda ignored me. but yea its a linksys nr041 4 port cable/dsl router. i can take a screenie of my router settings and upload my server.ini and subbill.ini if needed.
still mad at that linksys tech for ignoring me for an hour. any help would be much appreciated. |

http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/NetworkEverywhere/NR041/default.htm
The NR041 is not made directly by linksys.. it is made by networkeverywhere... Basicaly the same company just different names; they use the exact same setup programs in the routers as the other one.
Also.. normaly the host cannot see his zone green in the list. Sometimes they can and sometimes they can't... I think it depends on the isp but im not sure about that. Could also be related to a firewall problem. |

UDP only should work fine. (And when I say "should" I mean "does".) _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. User assumes all risk of use. Cyan~Fire assumes no responsibility for any loss or delay resulting from such use.
