How do i set goal tiles up for a soccer type game in a level? nothing ever explains it...

Goal configuration.

any goal
left-half/right-half
top-half/bottom-half
quadrants-defend-one-goal
quadrants-defend-three-goals
sides-defend-one-goal
sides-defend-three-goals

The halves/quarters are split down the middle of the map, in the correct directions. Position 512,512 is the center of the map, with the axises being X=512 or Y=512.

To place the goals, use the

icon in the map editor, and place it down anywhere you'd like. If you are using the any-goal setting, it doesn't matter where or how. If using the left/right, place the goals on the correct sides, where one team has to use the left goal, while the other team on the right. Enter into the zone called SSCX Powerball to see an example of a map that uses the left/right goal.
