Simply put as a question: What are they? I couldn't find anything in the ASSS Wiki or using the Search function.
Can't show a screenshot right now of what I'm talking about because I'm in Safe Mode, which seems to screw up Continuum's screenshot method. But I'm pretty sure you all know what I'm talking about. Just press F2 a few times until you get to the stats thing. |

Quote: | How can I figure out my Rating?
Rating is in subspace your skill based on points and your win/loss ratio. To calculate ratings for any of these values, you would use this formula:
Rating = (points from kills x 10 + (wins-losses) x 100) / (wins + 100)
NOTE: Points from kills does not include crown/flag/ball type points. If you are in a zone like this, to calculate your points from kills, you would take your average kills times your kills. |
Average is your average points per kill. This does not include non-kill points, just like the Rating value. So you take your total kill points and divide by the number of kills you have. |

Q: Are goal points considered part of the flag points? _________________ An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest. |

So how does someone get a 3.5 average in a zone where each player starts out with 100 bounty? Which obviously means at least 100 points per kill.
There are only 2 things I can come up with as solutions.
#1 is by teamkilling a whole lot, and knowing that he's staff, I highly doubt that this was the case.
#2 is by buying points from the buy bot, since *points changes all points to Flag Points. If it still uses your old Wins amount, then I'm 99% sure that this is the case. I'm 90% sure this is the case right now, but I prefer to be confirmed of things first so that I don't go making the wrong assumption.
I'm also guessing that using *points affects your rating, too. |

Correct, *points converts everything to flag points, thus Rating/Average Kill is destroyed in this way. |

A third possibility (regardless of the specific zone one has in mind) would be that the kill reward is set to fixed points instead of a bounty percentage, thus, bounty has no relation to points scored per kill or consequentialy relation to the average. |
