If your computer has dust on alot of its hardware..and i dont mean alittle bit of dust...... Will it start acting up? And how would I clean a sound card, video card, ethernet card.. without damaging the hardware..?

It's always a good idea to keep your hardware clean. A can of compressed air should do the trick. You can pick one up for a few bucks at Walmart in their computer department.

No, but it can keep it from getting over heated, as well as keeping dust out of the ports, which can cause some problems.

I wanted to suggest the can, just had no idea what to call it.

Make sure you don't tilt the can too much, it will freeze your hardware (if you don't believe me, try it on something else).

Yeah, and don't shake the can while spraying either, same thing will happen.

I just usually use a vacuum. Never broken anything, you just have to be careful.

We had the canned duster for the computers at work, so on the off times we would freeze quarters and toss them on the sidewalk outside to see if people would pick them up. I also almost lost an ear to frostbite. :\
