This module adds a single command "togglespec", which will toggle a player in and out of spectator mode and sends a message to the player issuing the command, exactly like subgame would. Used in conjunction with the cmdalias module I posted earlier, one can obtain the desired functionality for *spec. Remember to give the proper group access to use privcmd_togglespec. The spec locking is different from ?lock, so if you ?lock someone then *togglespec them they may get locked again by the togglespec module.

?lock/unlock and ?togglespec both use game->Lock()/Unlock() so how is this different? ?lock -s puts them in spec. Do you mean using one command for both speccing and unspeccing?

If you lock a player using ?lock -s, he will get locked in spec. The expected behavior of togglespec at this point would be to unlock the player. But since this module stores it's own data to determain if the player is locked or not, the player may end up remaining locked the first time *togglespec is used.
