i made a map, and i did a *putfile, but after i did that, i did ?go mini (thats the name), but it wasnt there, y?

I think he means lvl and not lvz.

Well did you put *putfile mini.lvl since the map name is mini?

putfile or getfile only works in pub arenas... not sure which one... does the server confirm that it received the file "mini.lvl" ?

the map name is mini, and it is in my continum folder,
heres a clip, and i am in pub:

Shlazzer> *putfile mini.lvl
Sending file: mini.lvl
File received: mini.lvl

and wen i go to ?go mini, its not there, soo wats the deal?

Make sure custom:arenamode is not set to 0 in server.ini, or you'll never be able to use different subarena maps/settings
