I downloaded catids ban plugin, put it on my bot (Mervbot .45) and set it off.
For some reason its only ever recognised one person, whenever i !alias for anyone else, or try to speclock etc them, it says "I do not have any records for that person"
Could anyone give me any help as to why this is?
Thanks

I think because that person has to come intop the zone with thier other alias. If they do nto come in with it, it wil not show up. At least i think so. |

And, I have noticed that it doesn't always record alias' into its "database". When !zip <player name w/ a funky character non [aA-zZ] [0-9] it would always say couldn't find that player. :/ _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling |

First; the bot needs to be sysop and logged in. Else it can't do *alias.
Second; Catid's alias bot only stores the information if the player has been *aliassed twice. This sucks but it gives a level of reliability to the aliasses.
(No worries though, the alias information will be screwed in 6 months anyway by linking to much IPs and MIDs together) _________________

It's not *alias, it's *tinfo or something like that. _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. User assumes all risk of use. Cyan~Fire assumes no responsibility for any loss or delay resulting from such use.

Does *info or *einfo has that limitation? If it doesn't then the bot aliasses aren't limited to that |

Of course subgame has no limitations finding players, it uses player idents since commands are PMed. The trouble is that MERV might not handle saving the name properly for comparison when a player enters the zone. |
