ok... I have DSL modem and a D-Link 604 router... I read the sticky topic about routers and all... but I still can't connect to my zone... I even tried DMZ on my router... i can download my zone from the list, then it stays red and I can't connect to it.
I've set Misc:ServerIP to my IP; something like 69.156.***.*** ....
I have no firewall ...
I don't know what I'm doing wrong here... it's getting late and i'm really tired... been trying to fix this for an hour now.. so... GAHHHHHHHH
I tried every single setting in my router... allowing the misc:port+1 everywhere... but anyway, as I said, I tried with DMZ, so the problem isn'T in my router's settings I guess.... _________________ (Insert a bunch of dead links here)

Set ServerIP to localhost or 127.0.0.1
I would change "IP=localhost" to 127.0.0.1 aswell _________________

NO NO NO NO NO.
Do NOT listen to Maverick.
Do NOT set ServerIP to localhost.
What you should do is try adding a custom zone with the IP of 127.0.0.1 in Continuum and see if you can connect to that. Some people have problems with looping back through their router, I don't know why. (I never did.) _________________ This help is informational only. Hah, Mav posting wrong information again.
The ServerIP should always be the Internet (public) IP address, which many can find on http://www.whatismyip.com/.
The Billing:IP can be any IP address except 127.0.0.1, you are fine using "localhost" as value there.
You don't need to edit zone.dat to add a custom zone, Continuum has a feature for that too, but whatever.
