Okay just a few things,
1.) Directory server listing doesnt seem to work?
2.) When a failed connection occurs, every so often I kept getting an error message, I forgot to copy it down; ie: Socket Operation timed out.
3.) You shouldn't have such things as: "Already connected... Please disconnect first" ... Handle it w/ enable/disabled menu options..
I still couldn't get it to connect to Hyperspace; but I'll try later. _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling

I had come close to implementing the directory server in my JACC client; but it wouldn't handle Priit directory server entries for some reason, but would connect to Maucaub's, Catid's..

ah ok i'll do that next time umm I seen your prog which does that Ping to a zone to get ping and zone player count
as far as I got on pinging is which you have to load a socket on the zone ip's and the port + 1 than connect and than..? what do i send ? some value

I use 1 socket to do the pinging, it just walks down the list of zones... ping waits, if no responce within reasonable time, then it think's its offline, since it is UDP...

Any chance of posting the code? These guys here love to add features to things, but no one has the patience to start their own work from scratch.

Couple of other things:
1) where are the settings stored at?
2) resizing should resize the controls...
3) 'disconnected' is misspelled.
4) after disconnecting after a sucessful connection wait a bit, it'll pop up
"Invalid socket descriptor passed to function". I'm not sure if this is due the the attempt to grab server listing or not... I had tried that as well again..
What is this "Blocking function in progress"?
hm.. yup

Screenshot?
I couldn't see anything about logging in the config file.
If you look in the doc directory of the asss distro you can see ping.txt.
When you run pocob from the command line it is without the .class extension:
java pocob

Ok pobcob works. About CJF
Couple of other things:
1) where are the settings stored at?
Game.ini if you delete it the settings get reset to the ones i set in code
2) resizing should resize the controls...
To much math i tired its too hard lol
3) 'disconnected' is misspelled.
Really lol o ya its cause you told me about that menu disabled / enabled stuff and i added it really fast without checking so i wont forget
4) after disconnecting after a sucessful connection wait a bit, it'll pop up
"Invalid socket descriptor passed to function".
Invalid socket descriptor passed to function means your sending data to socket without being connected to a server. Na the dir listing is a template i added in case later it has nothing on it. I decided to make the sendtxt.enabled false if not connected.
What is this "Blocking function in progress"?
hard to explain its like when your connected and you try to connect on top of that
and ya ill release the source soon.
