Hiyaz! Some player can't download the files from my zone. The odd thing about this is that some people from Europe can't enter (server located there) but most people from America can enter and most of them even have a better ping than I do.
The connection speed of the server shouldn't be the problem.
I wanted to know if this could also be my lag settings that prevent people from downloading the map, lvz and sometimes even the news.txt?

Thanks for your help! Faither.

Ok I think Shoot2kill and I were able to solve this riddle but I still want to ask you if it could be this way.

Facts at first:
Server Located at Europe
SSXH billed (As far as i know America)

Now the thoughts:
If you connect to a zone you are sending and receiving data from the biller through the zone. If a guy who lives in.... let's say America, West Coast, and tires to connect to the zone, he has a huge ping due to the distance. The packets are routet to Europe. The server gets and sends packets from America back to Europe. The Zone server forwards these packets back to America again.

Well if it's this way, the packets have huge distances to travel. Which means a huge ammount of lag an ploss. But the ploss isn't it i think.
There are some server settings which si called SlowPackets. If some of these packets take some more time they are classified as ploss as far as i understood from MGB's lag settings text.

Are we right?
If I'm right could I fix these problems by changing the slow packet time settings to bigger ammounts of time to fix that?

No. The players don't really have anything to do with the biller, neither does packetloss.
SlowPackets are spikes, not packetloss.
Packetloss is packetloss. Have one of the lossy people post a trace if possible.
