Hey there. My development team decided we're gonna give ASSS a go because of the sheer number of additional features it offers (My lead programmer is blowing his load all over his computer as we speak). Anyways, we were trying to test out as many features as we could once we got it up, but we seemed to have difficulty controlling the ?gamerecord feature.
Referring to the website with the command listings, we tried ?gamerecord record test which seemed to work great. After typing ?gamerecord stop, we wanted to take a look at how it went (we recorded about 15 seconds of moving around and shooting bombs). After typing ?gamerecord play test it seems to play for 1-3 seconds, and then just stop. Often times it doesn't even play for 1 second, the name with the ~ prefix simply enters and leaves the arena instantly.
Here's what messages we're getting:
Icevulture> ?gamerecord record test
Starting game recording
Icevulture> ?gamerecord stop
Game recording stopped
Stopped recording. The game file is 3456 bytes long.
Icevulture> ?gamerecord play test
Starting game playback: test

Provide more info.
And... tell your "lead programmer" to get out more.

Woops I responded as a guest there.. just realized that. Anyways, I'm not sure if anyone else was having problems with converter.exe where it would basically crash and ask you to send an error report to Microsoft and would only provide 11 out of the 13 files it was supposed to give you, but my programmer fixed that. So if you need it let me know, and give Dege a pat on the back for his efforts.

I haven't tried the recorder on windows. There might be some bug that prevents it from working there. Can you post or send me the recorded file so I can tell if the problem is in recording or playback?

Looks like a newline translation problem. Try the attached version.

Nice, I replaced the file with the one you posted and now recording works perfectly. Only thing I noticed now is that when I exited the zone, asss.bat/exe shut itself down.
