I'm trieing to set up Continuum on my friends Computer. However, everytime that I enter any zone on his zone list, the computer just restarts. I can't figure out why its doing that. Hes got a decent comptuer as well, P4 2.2 ghz, 512 MB Ram, Win XP, Rage 128 Ultra GFX Card...
Any reasons why its doing this?
Thanks. |

Your graphical settings might be out of your system's hardware ranges.
Make sure you didn't set the refresh rate and resolution (I'm not sure, but color depth could be an issue too) too high for your graphic card and monitor.
It notices it can't handle your graphical settings, to fix it your system reboots. |

| Go to your control panel. In the System Properties, go to the Advanced tab. Click Startup and Recovery button. Uncheck the Automatically reboot checkbox. Now when the computer crashes, you can see the error. |

That used to happen to me until I uninstalled IIS. Then it never happened again. Coincidence? I think not. _________________ This help is informational only. Pretty off-topic, but whatever, you made me do it!
When I'm too lazy to use Apache on my Linux box I use IIS on Windows, my computer starts to puke already when I even come in range of the "IIS control panel". |

Internet Information Services, one of Microsoft's many failed projects.
| Microsoft wrote: | Internet Information Services
Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 is a powerful Web server that provides a highly reliable, manageable, and scalable Web application infrastructure for all versions of Windows Server 2003. IIS helps organizations increase Web site and application availability while lowering system administration costs. IIS 6.0 supports the Microsoft Dynamic Systems Initiative (DSI) with automated health monitoring, process isolation, and improved management capabilities. |
