It uses FTP, "teh" graphics get uploaded to your "computar"!

Subspace/Continuum uses a custom protocol over UDP.

I was figuring out packets back in High School while I was bored in class. I recorded packet logs of me doing things in a private zone, and typing messages (which can be read in plain text) to state when I started and stopped certain things, and went about it that way. I printed well over 500 pages worth of logs, in size 6 font, front and back, with two columns.

Don't go saying that its too hard to do now, with the protocol being opened as it is.
