Nowhere on the internet the Mervbot tutorial can be found in its "pure" form. So I decided to attach it here. Can an admin/mod pin this topic please?
The Mervbot tutorial is surely your start document for making Mervbot plugins. It also includes alot of code snippets to get you going quickly.
It surely helped me starting, I'm sure it can do the same for you.
Download it / see it here: http://bots.sscentral.com/mav/files/MERVbot%20tutorial.html
Other stuff you need;
- The latest Mervbot
- DLL-plugin Tutorial
Good luck! _________________

I'm saying "pure" because it is not integrated into any website and can be downloaded easily. Because of the same reason it can be used offline.
The one at the wiki is a mess. You can't easily browse through it because of the many different styles. |

Styles of what? Code?
Either way, I say the wiki one is far cleaner than underlord's. _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. User assumes all risk of use. Cyan~Fire assumes no responsibility for any loss or delay resulting from such use.

Underlord's tutorial are missing key pieces of code such as #include statements, actual method/functions, etc. The wiki's code has been updated and includes such elements. However, when I do look at the merv tutorial on the wiki, I do get a feeling it could be accomplished better somehow - but is better in that state than the original underlord tutorial (not saying that his was bad or anything, it was a great help, and a good start for everyone). _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling |

The tutorial shouldn't be needed. That's all that's wrong. |
