A lvz question.
I was wondering if it was possible to have OPTIONAL LVZ in your zone. Instead of DOWNLOADING
direct from server you can download it off a website and put it in zones folder. And in server.cfg have LVZ name but not UPLOAD it in server. I was wondering if this could be possilbe. I have tried it in my zone but it just deltes LVZ in zones folder. Any one know another way to do this? oR is this IMPOSSIBLE? |

you have to use individual files (.bm2 or something) in zone folder, you cannot use lvz...and then of course it doesn't matter what you've got in misc:levelfiles=
a better way would be to set misc:levelfiles=+lookyAnOptional.lvz
I don't like putting stuff in my zone folder anymore, though since Priit fucked up how lvz work - just gets annoying |

You have to have the LVZ on the server. However, if you download the file from a web server, put in it the appropriate folder, and the files match CRC when you login, then no download will occur. This is the same mechanism that prevents you from having to download the LVL/LVZ every time you login. _________________ 4,691 irradiated haggis! |
