So me and my best buddy have been trying to get our server up for months now, I finally took over the operation on my laptop and have been sitting here for about half an hour re-configging everything. I've got it all up and working, I can enter it, it's all craptastic. The only problem is, my friend doesn't get the green light on his zone list. I've been taking tips from searched posts on this area, and I have done everything I've found and read, including a post that had this very same subject line. It didn't work, So if anyone has time to help me out, or knows the problem, let me know. **It now shows up on the list**. I use 127.0.0.1 for my custom, and he uses my IP, I have my IP set in misc:, and I have localhost set in Billing:.
Thanks for your help guys.

Well first start out, do you have a router? Then post the server.ini w/o passwords... _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling

does the server show up in the zone lists?
-if not try to add the zone with add custom.
has he tried to enter the zone even it being red?
could you also post the subgame.ini file?
I didn't catch anythign wrong with his server.ini
what OS are you running? if its XP have you tryed to see if the built in firewall is off?

| Everything is agreeable besides what you just said about XP having a built in firewall, I'm running XP home. Let me check.
