how big should map objects be?

how big should map objects be?

i currently have a pic that is like 752x1782 pixels and used for a map object. its 1meg by its self and compresses down nicely ( I used MakeLevel and the file was 484k) there are two of these pics and i'm wondering if there too big?

As long as the total file size of the .lvz is under 4 megs.

it all depends on the zone... if the effect is worth losing some 56k players... go for it... if not , dont
