How do you determine which level object is on top of all others?

The object layers are: BelowAll, AfterBackground, AfterTiles, AfterWeapons, AfterShips, AfterGauges, AfterChat, TopMost. It should be pretty obvious how these are rendered.

I think buildlevel 37 and buildlevel 38 wrote objects of the same layer to the .lvz file in different orders.
I remember making a lvz that showed two screen objects on entering the arena. Both were the same size and in the same postion, but one lasted longer than the other. When I upgraded to buildlevel 38 I had to reverse the order they were defined in the .ini file for it to look the same in game.

Objects in the LVZ file on the same level get displayed based on something in the LVZ file. It's either the order of the files, images or objects...I forget. icon_smile.gif

There should be a sub-level feature.
