I'am working on a .lvl, or .cfg file that would allow me to block a thor, for example: You have a square, but nothing can penatrate this square, like a thor. |

it is possible, in a matter of speaking.
I think your best bet (someone correct me if i'm wrong) is a bot set to spec within the range to receive the thor weapon packets of a door tile. Then if it could compute the thor crossing the tile (big if) then it could toggle the door mode bits, right?
Edit: assuming you wanted the door to absolutely be open to look like it "blocks" the thor
That itself would be a lot of work. Probably too much. I don't think i've ever actually seen it in practice.
to answer the supposed immediate question... the ss server does not support this "out of the box". there is no setting in map or config files for this that i know of (or anything along these lines) _________________ Signatures just seem so quaint.

I was thinking that myself, if the bot could jump down and get hit by it :/ but that'd be like oY.. _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling |

That wouldnt be very appealing. Plus without using a bot its impossible seeing as its in the game programming that a thor is above everything. _________________

Heli, do doors destroy thors? I can't remember any situation where that happened. _________________ Expect the worst but hope for the best. |

Or replace some of the bomb gfx with the thor gfx. Or give ships some reps? |

warp in (lame).
or just use ASSS
in any case, the ".lvl or .cfg" is a no go. They just don't support it. Use big bombs, that's propbably the closest alternative |

But bombs can't travel through walls, can they? He only wants a thor to hit a specific wall but not every. |

Black holes get rid of thor's... but it has to be shot into the dead center of it for it to work. |

I know of powerball having a flag check of whether or not going through walls, but I believe that thor is hard coded to ignore anything but players.
Sorry.

I thought powerballs bounced off wormholes, and that was used as a tactic to fire the ball faster than normal. |

They do bounce off them, but I don't know how you could fire them faster than normal. |

As you fly near a wormhole you accelerate, the ball velocity is your velocity + what is in the settings. Another example is always use afterburners just before you fire the ball so it goes further. |

Wormhole can increase player's velocity (if settings instructs so), ball carriers player's own velocity, hence forth... |
