Define booted. Client loses connection? Client blows up? Does everyone go at once? Or is it random for each user, and only one or two go at a time?

If you are hosting, it might be a ping spike. If no players get booted at the same time, your spec lag limits would have to be stricter than your player ones for a ping spike to take them out.

Here, I'll fill in a bit more on it. I am the 1 who mentioned this to him because he is hosting my zone. I am running a bot straight from my computer and I had 5 balls in play. At random times the bot picked this line up:

Quote:

Ball 0 timedout.
Ball 1 timedout.
Ball 2 timedout.
Ball 3 timedout.
Ball 4 timedout.

So I thought that it had to do with the soccer balls, so I removed them all and it kept on disconecting people. At random times it will disconnect EVERYONE except the bot and wEaViL. It will disconnect everyone all at once.

Oh, and also, when people get disconnected, it shows a flashing text in middle of sceen "WARNING: Disconnected from server." and in the text bar it says, "WARNING: No data coming from server. (No Data)"

Someone who is lagging out needs to check the lag between the server and him. You can do this via ping -t ZONEIP or using continuum's trace program. The ping command is better, because it can run constantly in the background, and once they get booted, they can go to the command prompt and hit CTRL+C to stop the pinging. You can then see if there is huge spikes that happen right at that time.

If you have access to the shell on the server, do this with a good website like google.com instead of pinging yourself.

Ok I found the problem. 2 of the server's my isp use are having lag problems. In a trace to Trench Wars zone where I normaly have a 30ms ping I found that 1 of the servers that my isp runs had a 150 loss and the other loss was unkown but a high ping of 2000ms. So till they fix it i'm sol new_let_it_all_out.gif
