Ok, I made a sub-arena you know for an event. I changed settings and I own the arena. The problem is, I all the other subarenas have the same settings. If I change them in the other arena the event arena gets its settings changed too. How do I stop this? How do I set settings so only one arena uses it? |

You need to create a sepearate cfg file with the same name as your subarena. For example if it was called 'duel' then you need to make a CFG file called duel.cfg. _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. recommend setting arenamode=5 in the [custom] section of your server.ini
then what you want to do is make a copy of server.cfg (or any .cfg) and rename it to the arena name of your choice, then upload it and THAT .cfg will be for THAT arena and ONLY that arena (eg. bongholio.cfg would be for ?go bongholio)
any time you open up settings (ESC, then C) and it says "File Received: spawn.set", let that be a warning! spawn.cfg is usually the file used for ALL ARENAS that do not have their own .cfg specified
most zones have a spawn.cfg identical to their server.cfg and leave it as that |
