Well, considering a MERVBot cant track the position of a ball if its not being held, im going to need to make it spawn in the exact same spot every time..
I'm making a football zone, and when theres a down, the bot will say "Down at the 39 yard line". At that point, a mod will talk to bot, say !39 (or something like that), the bot sets him to a ship, warps him to location of the ball, warps him to the 39 yard line, then specs him so the ball stays there at the 39 yard line..
So since the MERVBot cannot track the position without the ball being held im going to need it to spawn at the same spot every time.. How can i do this?
Thanks ,

Just for Akai (who I bet knows this anyway)
Football in geekspeek: Down is a breakup of the gameplay. At every time the ball leaves play or the ball carrier hits the ground (not including feet) the down ends. When the players line up against eachother and the ball is thrown back, that is the start of a down. There are 4 downs in which a team needs to advance 10 yards from the point of the first down.
Bot cannot take any position data from the ball itself, you are correct.
As to the question, i dont understand. You just want the ball to spawn at a given coord for every down? _________________ There are no stupid question, but there are many inquisitive idiots.

Well someone told me that in NBA JAM the ball ALWAYS spawned in the same spot.. In this case, if it does and i can make it to do that i can make the bot work right |

okay - so you want to be able to specify where the ball spawns? (anywhere, not just center) |

put the bot in on the 15(or whatever yardline) and tell the core to pick up the ball... then spec the bot |
