Im completely confused.. I have a mervbot that uses spawn.dll but its not working properly at all.

Code: Show/Hide

[OldSpawn]
; Where players would normally respawn
0=987,516  ,  991,521
1=987,607  ,  991,611

; ^^ example using [Radar]RadarMode:2

[NewSpawn]
; Where players will be warped to instead
0=213,403 , 796,620
1=213,403 , 796,620


but the bot isnt using [old spawns] coordinates, its using a much larger box than im telling it too -- infact it seems to be doing it no matter WHERE I spawn. I dont want that

I want the person to spawn into a larger box off of the map, and then the person will have to fly onto a smaller square in order to get warped into the main map. The coordinates are right. Its spawning to the correct spot -- but the bot is picking up an area much too large!

any ideas? I tried to be clear but i know that was confusing =/

Y don't u use cont0.38's spawn feature?

ya bot spawns are really hard to work out..then if u get them to work...what if ur bot goes down!

TM Baw makes sense to me...I never bothered to figure out catid's spawnbot, but SOS assured me catid's is better

well....0.38's spawn is easier...trust me...and i figured out how to do it myself...so it must be REALLY Easy for me to figure it out...lol tongue.gif:

problem is, im using [spawn] to warp them into a green square, and then SpawnBot to warp them out via a "fake" wormhole. Mainly asthetics and not really necessary, but looks nice.

I got it working though, instead of using the oldspawn and newspawn features, i needed to be using "Warp tiles" -- works fine now except that the "Warp tiles" can only warp to a fixed point, not a range of points -- mild annoyance but i can deal.
