Hey hey hey!
So I was going to enable the external module, and I found that it didn't load up. Compiled it again (because billing.o is left out of Makefile btw).
In any case both directory and billing modules are sending me this error.
E <module> Error in dlopen: /kiss/my/asss/bin/external.so: undefined symbol: do_sp_process
I see that the code is in protutils.c but not sure what could be wrong. Any clues?
btw, grel, did you look at my comments in the other post (i editted instead of posted a new reply).
Edit: sittin' on the can and then realized, "HEY! Typo! Fuck!" _________________ Oldbie Server Help |

Sounds like a dynamic linking problem. Mind telling me what OS you're running this on? Is protutil.o being included in the main asss binary? (I.e., listed as a dependency of asss in the makefile.) If not, add it and try again. If so, you might try adding it to the list of dependencies of external.so, so it'll be linked in there directly. That shouldn't be necessary, though.
What other post? |

Sorry, forgot my system specs too.
Slackware linux 8.0
kernel 2.5.4 (x86)
(be back with more info when i get back from running a few errands).
Dynamic linking problem?
[edit]
Correct once again. Thanks.
The problem was that it wasn't listed as a dependency to the asss binary in Makefile.
The other post is in Compiling problems i believe. Re: Funky module.
However, upon further testing it looks like that problem was resolved, maybe in my working around with adding correct dependencies that weren't in my Makefile. |
